On our second and final nite in Firenze, we took a stroll along a less-visited path.... seeking perhaps a cute little place to eat dinner.... new things to see. I fell in love with these side streets! The architecture, the window boxes, the ironwork, the stonework, the doors! Even the aging of the paint and structure made each edifice unique. Here are some of my favorites.....

Churches, cathedrals, Architecture
Between Paris, Firenza, and the first few hours here in Rome, I cannot seem to stop gawking at all the beauty surrounding us! EVERY SINGLE cathedral, basilica or place of worship is, in itself, a museum. I feel like crying every time I step inside one -- the beauty is overwhelming! I'm sharing here a few of my favorites -- but probably won't be able to label/tag them all until later (that's bianca's expertise!)......
Mama va a Europa
we'll fill in more details later - I'm most importantly putting the pictures up now so that people can see them! But mother came on Sunday to Paris, we left for Florence on Wednesday, we leave for Rome tomorrow!! Here are some picture! we've taken 400 and we still have 5 more days in Rome!!!
The Eiffel Tower from Mercedes' perspective..... the tree in the foreground has chestnuts..... they can be found in any Parisien streetcorner, roasted and warm.... yum......
Window shopping ...... Bianca and I were amazed by the beautiful window displays at all the Pattiseries.....their creations looked too good to consume!
